Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification or licensure.
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings, preferably K-12.
- Possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders typically seen in school-aged children.
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication challenges.
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions targeting articulation, language, fluency, and other speech disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech goals into the classroom environment.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings addressing student needs.
- Provide guidance and support to families regarding therapy strategies.
